The
management of the hotel D’Orange D’Alcantara, always directed
from the Savoca Family, was born in 1983, but in 1993 the restaurant,
the bar and the hall, have been restructured. In 2002 all the rooms have
been renewed, leaving a tangible sign of comfort and welcoming. Moreover
the hotel has a piano bar, TV room, reading room, an American bar, restaurant,
pizzeria and parking.
The hotel, for its strategic position, is apt for all types of customers,
sea, mountain, trekking and art tourism and also for short stays and business
visits.

POSITION
The hotel is in the heart of the green Alcantara Valley and it is appreciated
for the presence of the Alcantara river which is about 3 km away. You
can find nearby, Taormina at 20 km, the Etna volcano at 20 km and the
Giardini Naxos beach at 15 km.
Francavilla di Sicilia, like many other small towns nearby, have an enviable position which permit the client to go to the beach or to go skiing on the mountains without going too far. As a matter of fact the characteristic of many towns on the oriental part of Sicily is that they have the privilege to be able to go to two different places in less then an hour of distance. This advantage is due to the presence of Mount Etna, which is famous all over the world.

The hotel has 50 rooms of varied typology. They can be divided in standard rooms and in De Luxe rooms
The
Standard Rooms
They have been renewed in the course of 2002 and we have brought several
modifications in order to satisfy all the requests of the customers who,
or on vacation or on work, can find all those comforts so that the stay
is pleasant.
All the rooms have these services: a shower or bathtub, hair dryer, telephone
for direct calls, television, air conditioner, independent balcony and
safe box.
The
De Luxe rooms
The De Luxe rooms have been realized in 1996 for those customers who expect
every comfort on their vacation. For this reason we have realized these
rooms elegant in their furnishing and careful in every smallest detail,
giving this way a touch of class with ceramics, hand painted by Sicilian
masters, which have artistic designs on the bedheads and in the bathrooms.
The De Luxe rooms have these services: bathtub, hair dryer, telephone
for direct calls, television, air conditioner, independent balcony, fridge-bar
and safe box.
The restaurant offers typical Sicilian dishes, but it is also in a position to offer refined dishes. The wine list has only Sicilian wines as it is a family choice.
In the dining room we have the possibility to accommodate 200 customers and in the Summer we can arrange 50 more clients in the terrace.
The restaurant offers all the clients an inne and external pizzeria with a wood-burning oven.
